Queen Anne’s Lace at Saranac Lake

I was participating in the Adirondacks Plein Air Event last week. My first time in the area. I was amazed by the beautiful landscape, the ponds, lakes, mountains , forests and Queen Anne’s Lace everywhere. One afternoon I sat down by a boat launch at the Saranac Lake, I had the perfect view of the lake and the wildflowers right in front of me. I painted this painting and I was happy and honored to find out that it got an award at the reception at the end of the week. I got the “Community Bank Award “ and the painting sold the same evening.
A happy memory of a wonderful event.
